Journey of a masterpiece

The art of Polki jewellery making, which has been a tradition for centuries in the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat since the Mughal era, requires painstaking craftsmanship and an eye for the finest details.. Only a mastercraftsman can bring out the inherent beauty and purity of natural uncut diamonds and turn it into a statement piece with an eternal and ethereal appeal.

It starts with the very first step of Gadhayi (forming the structure with gold strips), then Khudayi (engraving design and pattern on gold strips), followed by Meenakari (filling the engraved patterns with colour) and finally Jadhayi (placement of uncut natural diamonds).
